Why Withdrawing From the Crowd Will Spice up Your Life

We need self and others to function better, none can do without the other, but it must be well balanced. Enjoying other people's company is not a bad idea at all, it only signals trouble when it becomes a means of escape from self. As much as we want to, we can't run away from who we are, it is impossible.

Some give the excuse that it's way too boring to be alone. How can you say that the most amazing person in the universe, you, is boring to be with? Boredom doesn't exist, it's just a state of mind. Solitude is not for the introverts and ambiverts only, extroverts can also benefit immensely from it.

It may be difficult at first, but with time, you will get used to it. It may be for a few minutes. Release all the fear, worries, guilt, regrets and unworthiness like a hot piece of coal. Pick a hobby, what are your interests? What do you enjoy doing? Do those things or just be and you will lose track of time.

Being with ourselves help us to reconnect with our essence, enhances our creativity, boosts our confidence, increases our productivity and much more. It's worth the effort.

  1. Pretty nice write up. I'm presently at a point in my life where I can't do without being with people. As a matter of fact, I find it hard being alone... reading this has made me understand that it's not a healthy way to live.

  2. Im glad that you found it useful, thanks for stopping by.

  3. I think i spend time far enough with myself than with people.
I learned it from experience to enjoy and live with the most amazing person in the world which is (MEself)
